Le Domaine? A human adventure.
Behind the management of Le Domaine you can find the CIS (Center for socio-professional Integration), a non-profit foundation recognised as a public utility by the State of Fribourg.
The CIS’s mission is to contribute to the professional reintegration and well-being of people with disabilities and/or difficulties integrating into society through appropriate support and environment.
We offer employment to people with physical, psychological or mental disabilities as well as to those with integration difficulties. People are send to us, by the disability insurance offices (AI), but also by private insurances and many other State services. We offer them the possibility of carrying out internships to be able to reintegrate into the first labour market.
CIS runs as a social enterprise. The governing body is the Foundation Board. It must respond to the demands of the market by delivering quality work within the allotted time. The administrative services support our three sectors of activity in their day-to-day work.
These three sectors are:
Crescendo-Alto (professional rehabilitation)
- Crescendo offers professional reintegration measures to people referred by the Invalidity Insurance offices (AI).
- Alto Espace santé section takes into account the whole person, helping them to improve their physical and mental well-being.
Production & Services (adapted jobs) comprising the following units:
- Packaging & Concierge services
Processing customer files, mailing addresses, printing and folding documents, inserting envelopes and managing mailings, assembling cardboard boxes, glued or not, packaging small mechanical items, making advertising sets or end-of-year gifts, shrink-wrapping or not shrink-wrapping brochures, catalogues or other items on request, maintenance of the CIS buildings. - Technical
Mechanical assemblies, electrical assemblies, electronic assemblies, visual, dimensional or functional checks
A few examples of assembly work: electrical switchboards, watch winders, various cable and connector assemblies, rack assemblies, machines for converting brackish water into drinking water, etc. - Logistics
Reception and inspection of various marchandises, identification and labelling of any marchandise, physical inventories of any marchandise, stock monitoring, automatic reception of online orders on the customer’s website, order management using high-performance tools, delivery of goods to the final client via the appropriate channel, temporary storage according to your needs, monitoring of shipments, preparation of product kits, repackaging and sorting before delivery. - Administrative services
Accounting, payroll management, administration, communication mandates, management of the Chèque Emploi Fribourg scheme - Atelier Vert
Maintenance of Le Domaine’s grounds and sale of the garden’s production - Restaurant le Voisin
Catering, seminars, catering, management of communal restaurants for third parties, in-house linen management
Domaine Notre-Dame de la Route (training and vocational reintegration)
- Management of a para-hotel estate offering accommodation, seminar rooms, catering and a yearly program of various activities and training courses.
The CIS employs around 150 people in specially adapted jobs and around 300 people undergoing rehabilitation measures or work placements all supervised by around sixty people specialists in the professions and socio-professional mentors.
The Domaine gives us the opportunity to offer our beneficiaries jobs that are close to 1st market conditions. This way, we are delighted to count among our teams and among all our hotel professions, people living with disabilities.
